Default My XL goes to the body shop

Tomorrow morning. A little body work and new paint. I need to start a list of all of the things I've done so far. The shop will have it for the whole week. I should get it back Friday. Ford white. I have new decals, body molding and a XL fender emblem to install. Then bed liner and bed rails. Then bolt on the new rear bumper. I'll fix the fuel pumps as soon as the truck is out of the body shop.

Nice! make sure they know the rust areas. The bed inner fenders rust out quickly. I have seen people pay $3000 for a paint job and the shop didnt bother addressing the rust areas. They just thought well sand it and it should be good. The inner fenders need cut out and then the rust should be able to sanded away if it isnt to bad.

I painted mine a ford arctic white and silver pearl in the clear.

I'm lucky to live in the arid southwest where rain and rust are not common. You would be amazed at the amount of rust that isn't there.
