Door Tag Decode
Have done a bit of searching around but really haven't come up with any definitive answers on what information is printed on my door tag. Could anyone please provide some better info from the door tag below? I'd like to start changing fluids out on my "new" F150 but want to make sure I am using the proper stuff.
Also; what fluid should I put into my 5 spd trans and transfer case?
I've already decoded my VIN thanks to info from the site.
Thanks in advance.

That's what I thought the H92 meant but I'm glad I have confirmation. I am pretty happy to know that I have the LS. Glad I checked before I changed the diff fluids.
What do you mean "which is production 2002"? I actually have the original VIN tag (for warranty purposes when new) that shows the purchase date of 8/8/1988. I imagine that the VIN tag is pretty rare piece to have. I actually have the 3 previous owners registration papers as well lol!

I am not sure what the "Date: 7/01" means on the door sticker though........my only guess is that the sticker may have been reprinted.
