Eddie if your living in a emissions regulated state you will need to leave on vac pump egr and other EPA crap.
I live in Iowa where we do not have to pass smog tests, so I'm able to remove/rework my trucks exhaust and smog setup.
If its running good, I'd say you could give it new plugs, wires, fuel filter, do an oil/oil filter change, and check on the brake pads. After that drive it....
