Default Do not clean throttle body?

Today I decided to clean my maf sensor, since I had everything apart I figured I should clean the throttle body as well. Right before I went to spray in the carb cleaner I noticed a sticker that said do not clean throttle body because it has a special coating on it. Should I clean it or just leave it alone?

Clean it. The coating is either worn off or baked on, if unsure use efi throttle body cleaner.

Take the throttle body off and completely apart and clean the **** out of it. Make sure you take the plates off and clean them too but remember direction and what side they came off. Also while it is apart you should replace your idle air control valve. Cheap and very easy. Plus you get a better/smoother idle. And don't spray cleaner into your intake, spray it on the rag and wipe.
