Died, now starting issues

I was heading down the highway to take my placement tests for college, behind a guy going 45 in a 55. I went to pass him, got in the left lane, started hitting the gas to accelerate past him. Nothing. No throttle response. I look at my cluster, my RPMs are still up, speed at 45, heat on the NOR side of normal, oil fine, then it all started dropping. RPM's done, speed going down, heat still in NOR and oil fine. Got to the side, hazards, yada yada.

Now, I figured I ran out of gas, as my gas gauge doesn't exactly work right, and this was my first fill up, so I didn't know what kind of mileage I was getting to watch my trip odo for. I called AAA, tow truck showed up, we put two gallons in to see if it'd fire up. Turned the key, it would crank but no fire. I kept doing that like an idiot, think I ran the battery dry. But, to boot, I think I bound the starter up, as it wouldn't crank once it got towed home.

It's possible that two gallons wasn't enough to pressurize the lines and get to the engine in 16.9 gal tank, but even regardless of that, it won't even crank now, and the battery is losing power without anything being on. Key off, lights off, nada. Had it hooked up to a battery charger, was showing good. Took it and I've been going back and checking it now and then, and it's gotten lower over time.

So, right now:

Won't crank
Won't fire if cranking
Battery discharging

But:

Fuel pump engages

And that's about the only positive thing I can think of right now.

Help me help you help me, ask away and I'll answer to the best of my ability, if ya please!

Check your solenoid on the firewall and make sure the wires are good. Take a good screwdriver and jump the two posts together to see if the truck rolls over. Let's get it rolling over again first. I suspect your pip/icm went out but we need to get it rolling over again to check for spark.
