Default "Did I Get Ripped OFF"

Just picked up my 94 f150 XL from thre tranny shop cost $1066.00 Here's what was done Rear seal replaced, Clutch Slave, Clutch & Pressure Plate, Pilot bearing, Third & Fourth Shifter fork, Replaced shifter rail plugs and resurfaced Flywheel and placed new shift kit in it M5r2 by the way with a 4.9L does that sound reasonable or did I get Taken.

about 5 years ago i paid 700.00 for a clutch So i would say good deal

Thanks' Tass I wasn't sure never owned a manual tranny that needed any work done to it. It is definitly 100% better he showed me the clutch and it was down to the rivets.

damn! that is cheap! it would cost me a grand worth of parts alone! forget the labor !

on the truck i have now though I did the clutch myself for 190.00.First clutch in 189,000 miles Not bad

That is defiantly a deal, parts alone are almost worth 800 or 900$ Plus the labor of having to dismantle the transmission to put the new shift kit. Any other shop may have been double what you paid.
