I have a 1988 f150, with a 3 speed auto. When it shifts from 1st to 2nd, it delays in 1st longer than it should, then shifts rough into 2nd. I changed the transmission fluid and filter last month. Any ideas what causes it and how to fix it? Thanks.

 

my best guess would be the tps (Throttle Position Sensor) is taking a dump.
