Default Decluttering Under the Hood

Just got home from a local car show, which always gives me ideas for my truck. I'd like to clean up the engine compartment and was wondering what can be deleted in the engine bay to help it look less cluttered? I want to remove the smog pump and the can it feeds into, but is there anything else in there that's not necessary and can be taken out? If I do the efan swap is the fan shroud still necessary?

I put in e-fans in mine and left out the fan shroud.

NICE!! I put in 1 round one last year, or the year before and I started overheating. But it turned out previous owner had the thermostat on backasswards.

Anyway, this year, was gonna get a dual one. Do you have a link to where you got yours? Some on this forum recommend the Ford Mercury one. Any tips on bolting that onto the rad or on the sides?

This is the one I got: http://ffdynamics.com/products/f15028 , but I can't really recommend it completely. I went through two of their controllers before I had to buy one at the local parts store. The fans seem to be okay though.

Funny, I thought I had that link saved from a year or so ago. I've been looking all over for it. Maybe you just got a dud controller? It's possible? I'll save it as a link and when I'm ready, I'll start doing more research. I still have my wiring for a single one inside the engine compartment.

This is the one that's been being recommended on this forum:

I was looking around today and some people have pretty good brackets holding the fans. I just installed a new RAD a few weeks ago and I'd hate to poke those plastic things the hold the fan in. I always think they will break or something. There has to be a better way.
