Default Dashboard moves?

I noticed coming home from fishing last night that the right side of the dash assembly (bottom of glove box to top of dash where it meets windshield) shakes up and down on bumpy roads. As if it were disconnected from the truck on the right and connected on the left side. Does anyone know how the dash assembly actually attaches to the truck? I'm assuming there are a couple clips or screws that maybe broke or fell off. Thank you.

It actually moves a good inch up and inch down.

your dashes mounting tabs are broken, it is a common problem.

look at the bottom of the dash right next to the door, and right above the kick panel, the tab there is probably broke.

I don't have a pic but I just took a piece of metal drilled and bolted it where it bolts to the a-pillar bent it around the dash and screwed it to the dash

I did the same thing, my plastic piece was broken and I just took a piece of metal and bolted it to the dash and the frame where it attaches. That's been probably a year ago and it's held great, it doesn't shake or move anymore
