Couple Issues
So we drove the truck yesterday and keep having a few issues.
First, the brake pedal gets almost stuck down a little bit if you brake hard, so we have to bump it up with our foot. The brake booster is new and the pin is set to 1 1/16 as indicated on the master cylinder, but does it need to be screwed out more since its old?
Next, we finally got a check engine light and pulled codes 84 and 33; both EGR codes. The status of that is the EGR wiring is plugged into the top, but the vacuum lines are deleted and I have a plate between the EGR and the intake. How do I properly delete the EGR? I've seen some videos of the simulator connector, but on the videos it seems to make it idle high for some reason? Will it learn to idle down?
Finally, when we filled the fuel tank (single rear), it was pouring fuel out
. Not a good time for something like that. The fuel pump and o-ring and retainer is new, so I suspect the vent bushing is rotted.
Anyway, if you guys have any info that could help me regarding any of these, that would be great.
P.S. It runs SO GOOD with the new throttle body. When it idles, I feel like its going to stall because I can hardly hear the engine running!

To trick the computer for the EGR, leave the block Off plate and reattach the vacuum line. The position sensor ( plug back in as well) will read it moving and be happy.
check vent valve gasket and verify it’s not leaking at the fuel line connector
