Default coolant disappearing

Okay. My trucks runs great, stays cool, sounds awesome, and it has lots of power. But everytime i decide to just "check up" on things under the hood my coolant resevoir is empty and my radiator could use a little bit of a top off. The engine is usually warm when i practice this if that helps. Last time i changed the oil i filled it up, let it run, and stuck a pressure tester on it while i was underneath doing the work. Didnt see a drop, so i pumped the pressure tester a little bit past what i should of, and still nothing, can anyone explain why the coolant fairy jacks all my ****????

I had the same problem and never traced it down, but it went away when I replaced the water pump when I replaced the timing cover gasket. Upon inspecting the old water pump, I noticed evidence of coolant seeping out of a weephole on the bottom of it.

I replaced my water pump for 44 dollars and the gasket came with it. Took an hour.

Your gasket might be slowly going, or you could have my problem and that the hoses from the water pump to the heater and back are starting to rot a little bit and have pin hole leaks

That im not. Just tired of working on crap. Pulled he bed the other day to replace fuel pumps, im pretty sure the rear main is bad. And every now and then i hear a clank from underneath, its rotational, so im thinking t case or tranny. And, my truck shifts into reverse horribly hard. Jerks me around quite a bit. And my power steering pump has started to whine a little louder than normal, and i just put fluid in. I feel like my truck is falling apart underneath me. Oh, and a coupke vacuum lines are rotten and broke, and im guessing the head cover breather(little tube that goes from air filter box to right next to oil fill cap) is rotten and flimsy. Any help with all of the above would be appreciated as well.

i had/have this problem on my truck. somtimes it would lose fluid and other times id drive it 3k miles with no problem. ended up being a small pin hole in my radiator that only leaked when my cooling system was at max psi. even found out my coolent will re-appear after my truck cools down and the reservoir will be half full (normal)

Such is life, everything breaks even new cars except you have no warranty. Did you check the u-joints? Pump is going out and it may start throwing belts like mine did. The Ford pump sucks, upgrade it: https://www.f150forum.com/f10/f150-g...upgrade-56757/ Vacuums and crap are easy.

Cam. That sounds just like me. And sean, everytime im under the truck i check and grease everything. And i shake the driveshafts and wiggle them every way i can and they all seem fine. Idk what it is. Im thinking about fixing what i can and saving and biting the bullet and let a shop deal with the rear main. After that idk. Im just trying to get everything fixed so i can start upgrading.
