Oh, 5Rangers. If you don't mind me asking, what did you end up doing with the old front bumper and skid plate set up you had on your truck? I'd definitely be interested in buying something like that.

I still have the old front bumper and the aluminum plate with the Ford emblem on it. The bumper itself needs resurfacing. I'm not sure about shipping it to NC but I would probably let the bumper go for less then what the shipping would cost.

From an economic stand point it wasn't worthwhile, economically, it was a disaster. I have alot more money into the truck then I could ever get out of it. But, I don't plan on selling it, so in that sense it was worthwhile because I pretty much know most every component and it's condition and should be able to fix it on my own.

It was also worthwhile because as I began to work on it, the simplicity and function of most of the engineering drew me in, especially when compared to newer trucks, which I could have easily purchased for what I now have into this one. But, there wouldn't have been the experience and pleasure derived from the accomplishment.
