Default Come follow along, let's spend some cash!!!

Some of you have seen this truck before. Original paint low mileage beauty.
Same truck that's in the "Ultimate Frame Cleanup" thread.
Long story short, I've gone through everything on this truck (except the front end) and kept it "original".
I applied for collector plates and received them in record time. My thoughts were that if it did NOT receive collector plates, I'd put a small lift and cool bumpers on it. That being said, my insurance is now dirt cheap and it's time to finish the truck, but stay within the collector status "rules".
It's going to be fun, the front end will get redone and I'll keep you updated but also some good stuff!
You're "allowed" headers, electric fan, upgraded shocks and brakes among other things so here we go.
1st load of goodies showed up today so first up is headers, high flow cat and complete custom exhaust by the best guy in town.
All aluminum 4 core rad, with dual fans as well.
After that, shocks and front end.

Thanks!
Looking forward to getting it finished.
I'm polishing up another set of wheels for it as well.
Check them out here.

Nice. How did you do the dipstick?

Could you take a pic on the other side as well? Any tips and gotchas on those? Did you install it from the bottom of the truck up or from the top down? Same on the other side? INstall from bottom?

There are no videos unfortunately on Youtube for this generation install of headers. So any info you got will be appreciated!!

The drivers will go in from either top or bottom, passenger side is easier from the bottom.
Exhaust is now done.
All aluminum 4 core rad with dual electric fans is next.

She's very pretty. Mine I, unfortunately, am still using for work, until next year. Then, I'm also antiquing mine, if they will accept my headlights. I have a custom set that I built myself.
