6.5's in the front. Some don't fit exavtly and may require new holes drilled or only 2 screws put in.
The rears are 6x8's but if you read the packaging for 5x7, most will fit in a 6x8 hole. Most 5x7's have 2 sets of screw holes on each corner.
But yes, you will be better off with 6x8's.

I only have 2 screws in mine lol
And if your on a tight budget I'd recommend Sony xplods all the way around. They're not the absolute BEST but for the price you can't do much better. I redid my entire system (all speakers and headunit) for about 150 and it sounds phenomenal. Also I only have 5x7s in the back. I feel that 6x8s would put out more bass. All the bass in my setup comes from the 6.5s in the doors

You outta check out the Pioneer $45 6.5s at walmart. I had Xplods in my truck before, and they weren't cutting it after a while. Upgraded to those Pioneers and picked up close to twice the volume, more clarity, and more high notes.

The xplod's did put a bit more bass, but I have a sub for that. I'm running an xplod deck too, real nice head unit, easy to use, and just nice looking

My current system is a Xplod head unit, 6.5inch Pioneer doors, 2 JVC tower speakers and 2 4x6s behind the seat ( I don't have stock rear speaker locations), a Pioneer 10 inch sub, ran by a 350 watt mono amp

Maybe I'll check em out. I have a Sony headunit but its a little older and the cd play don't work. I feel like my speakers are only performing at half their potential due to that. I'm not an expect on sound systems or any of that so I don't wanna draw in all the know it alls like the last thread I tried to give input on. What I have sounds great as long as I dont try to crank it up then it crackes and sounds terrible.

Eventually I'll get around to redoing everything but I'm focused on getting my truck leveled, aligned, getting my brake work done, finishing my exhaust, and swapping out the rear end first lol
