Body lifts can be homemade for little to nothig. Just take your time and do it right. Suspension lifts should not be homemade IMO, maybe a part or two to get you a little extra height, but not entire kits. Rough country sells em for like $500, but they are bare bones lifts. I recommend broncograveyard.com they have lifts specializing i. These trucks for a grand.

a thick walled piece of pipe about 2.5" wide cut to what ever size you want.

big washers, or flat steel cut into a circle. welded to the cut pipe.

longer bolts. our trucks are 7/16 thread.

the only part you'll have to buy is the steering extention, unless you wanna do like i did and cut mine and sleeve it then weld it longer

if your running a 4.9l I6 you'll have to get a flexable radiator hose.

Will i need the radiator hose for my 5.8?

And if you dont have access to a welder to do the pipe. Hockey pucks work.

Hockey pucks are the ticket! Don't buy any kits ever! IMO if you have the skills put them to use. That way your getting exactly what you want and you know exactly what you've got in there. And on top of that you'll always save some cash.
