I know how lifts work. That's what I do. That's all I do. lol. But the fact of the matter is, is that 3" of lift will not clear 35s. They're going to rub. Bad. I don't care if its 3" suspension or 3" body lift. They're still going to rub.

And there is no chance in hell of 49s fitting on my truck. NONE.

36s stuffed with 9" of lift. There is no chance for 40s, let alone 49s.

perfect example, look at my truck and picture trying to put 35s on it... even with a leveling kit, i think they'd still rub... it's got a 3 inch body lift on it now

nice truck but what im saying is wether you go with lift of suspention or boddy there the same can we a gree on that . . next well if you wanted to get the 49s you prob can but you would have to change the distance the wheel travels to the fender and it would fit which would really stiffen the suspention pretty good and idk about the 35s with 3 inch body lift i dont think they will rub

and im guessing you used blocks for the rear corect cause that would be the only reason why the rear wheel went so high up and im asumeing you did blocks and springs cause if you did 9 inch blocks that wouldnt be gould so if i had to take a gues 4 inch blocks and changed the rear springs

did you try it or just education cause my buddy has it on his ford he raised it 3 inches and put the 35s on he said they fit i think it be close depending where the wheel opening sits with it raised cause the wheel will only travle so high and if the opening on the fender is greater than 35 + depending how wide the tire is lets say 10.5 so then the opening needs to be at least 37 inchs for the wheel to turn without rubbing (GIJOE this is out of just logic here dont hammer me fore an inch off im not out side measuring my fenders to see what size the opening is )

well i get what your saying.... ive got a buddy that has a 93 or 94 f150 and he put a 2 inch suspension lift on only the rear of the truck (yea i know), and he fit 33's on his truck with no lift at all on the front.... i could probably fit 35s on my truck with a leveling kit, but the first time i took it off road, with all the suspension travel, it'd tear the truck all to crap pretty much.... the ONLY way that i would put 35's on my truck would be with a 2 1/2 inch lift on the front, and a 1 inch block on the rear.... and different gear ratio's of course, but thats beside the point.... 35s right now, would beat the fenders to death on my truck lol

yes without lift it would kill the fenders but you prob could get away with a 3 inch boddy lift but i would go with suspention more expensive but way better either way should work
