Catalytic Converter Removal
I have a '96 F150, and I am working on it a bit, and I have came across a situation where I need to take out the Cat(s). I'm not new to working on my truck, just to this part and am not sure how. Can anyone give me a detailed description or a link to a video on how to do this?

What size engine? I have a 96 with a 302 and the cats are part of the Y pipe. To remove, first unplug the O2 sensor between the 2 cats, on mine, the connector is on the top/side of the transmission, then it's just the 4 nuts on the exhaust manifold studs and the pipe going into the muffler/tailpipe, and a few hangers as well as the secondary air pipe.
