Default check engine light

I just used the code reader to retrieve the codes.Their were 2 different codes. Code 121- which in the book say's it means closed throttle voltage higher or lower than expected. The second code was 111 which the book say's is System Pass. The check engine light is not always on.It just comes on and off all the time.Sometimes it will just stay on for a second, and other times 5 or 10 minutes. When i whent out to try the code reader i tried to start the truck up to warm up a little and it was running very rough. When i took my foot off the gas it would keep stalling out. Finally after warming up a bit it would stay running, but sounded crappy. When i pressed on the gas real hard to rev it up it seemed to smooth out, but when i took my foot off the gas it would just spit and sputter.

121- Sounds like the TPS is out of adjustment or bad. 111 basically means nothing. The check engine won't always stay on even when there is a problem.

Could you tell me where this is located on the truck? Thanks!

It's the throttle position sensor, located on the throttle body. It reads how much you are pushing the gas pedal.

you may need to remove the throttle body because of the location of the tps. it is mounted underneath.
