can't pinpoint coolant leak
Ok, I did all new gaskets on my truck, and I'm still losing oil and coolant, the oil is show so I don't really worry about it but coolant is like over a gallon in two to three weeks. I see a spot on my motor where it is wet, but I don't see coolant in it, it is right underneath the water neck where my t stat is. I know is not the thermostat gasket tho because I triple checked that, I can't see anything leaking out but its still . Any ideas?

little by-pass hose from your water pump to the block...

Double check your clamps on the hoses and I know you said there new but check hoses for cracks and dry rotting or just put it on a lift if u have access to one crank her on up and it would prob take u 5 seconds to find the leak. Good luck

You can rent or buy a pressure test kit that will let you pressure test the system. Check the radiator cap and the line that leads to the over flow. Years ago I had a bad seal on the waterpump that let in air while the engine was running causing the system to overflow. You can also buy a kit that will test the coolant for the combustion gases indicating a head gasket failure.

When I first got my truck, my water pump had a slow, but steady seepage from it that I never did find until I replaced the water pump while fixing the oil leak from the timing cover gasket.

Rikard, brand new headgaskets and completely redone heads, new valve stem seals and planed and pressure checked the heads for hairline cracks and new freeze plugs too.
It got a new wp from the guy just before me so I dunno on that one lol.

It's a Canadian thing eh!
If you can't pinpoint the exact leak, get some multipurpose fluorescent dye. Once it works its way through the system it will glow when you shine a light on it making it way easier to find.
But on a side note, did you replace you're radiator cap?

I had a similar issue with a hard to find coolant leak. Eventually it became obvious on its own after I had looked over and over. The timing chain cover had a leak on the top located behind and to the right of the water pump. It was hard to locate due to heat from the block drying the location of the leak. It would leak more while driving and barely if at all at idle. This went on for a long time before the gasket gave way more which then made it obvious. Sometimes it has to almost smack you in the face before you find em. May not be your issue but something to look for.
