Hy guys. I was looking at bronco graveyards bumper, and im not entirely sure i will like it after i move it up to match a 2" body lift. Itll show way to much undercarriage. A really nice custom one would be nice. But not $2500 nice. Sooooo..... i call on my fellow forum members to help me in my quest for a bad*** winch bumper.

I have thought about getting a brush gaurd, but ill have to do some fab work with a body lift to make the winch functional. Ive toyed with he idea of building my own, but that will be a huge pain in the ****.

Whos got what?

put on a front hitch and mount the winch to that. personally with only a 302 in mine i dont want a bumper that would weigh the front of my truck down the way custom winch bumper would. i mean some of the shows that add them use lifts or winches just to install them.

I want one. Bad. Because it looks so bad***. And ive opted for the hitch, but i think a front hitch is $500. Hell, i want something useful for that. im mainly seeing if there are any other options instead if the bronco graveyard bumper.

I see front hitches for 200-270.
I believe bronco graveyard is 270

I think their rock solid front winch bumper is my best bet.

I have the rock solid on order from the graveyard. My truck has the 2" body lift and my plan is to remove the stock "stone deflectors" and fab my own that will extend farther down to fill the space. I believe it can be done with some pieces of 1" aluminum angle mounted to the "upper stone deflector" where the stock lowers go. Then pop riveting some black material (I guess anything you think is suitable) to those aluminum angles.

For what it's worth, the guy that fabs the bumper at www.protofab4x4.com can do a little bit of modification to the bumper mounts to move the bumper up a bit to fill the void. However I opted not to do this since that would leave the bottoms of the frame horns exposed.

I have not recieved the bumper yet as it is a 3-4 week turn time because he builds them as the orders come in.
