Default Automatic Hubs - Noise

I have automatic hubs on my 89 F150. Recently they have started clicking a lot when I back up, they have always worked fine and seem to still work fine, just a lot of noise when I back up, sometimes a little when I go forward.

Any ideas?

I took the caps off this weekend and there is plenty of grease in them.

It's constant as in it happens every time I back up, haven't tried backing up in 4wd at all. It still clicks in and out of 4wd just fine. And the hubs seem to unlock and lock just fine going into and out of 4wd
