Question 97 F250HD OSD 4HI Problem
I have a 1997 F250 HD with an OSD(Old Style Body). It has 4 wheel drive, but the problem is it will not engage in 4Hi. It only works in 4Lo. I have to manually put it in as I have a linkage broke and needs replaced. Any thought on the 4Hi though?

Do you have manual hubs?
I would fix the linkage so you can shift the transfer case properly and then move on to any other issues.

Yes manual hubs., and I am working on that, got to make my way to the junk yard.
