Default Broken Cruise Control 1995 5.0 5 Speed

Guys what is most likely the culprit on my car if the cruise control is not working?

Would you bother checking fuses or is this a pretty common failure with the cruise control components?

Would you get a new part or used and about how much do they run normally?

Most common reason, Ford unplugged it and the recall wasn't completed to fix it.

Yeah about that recall, my truck (95) has been unplugged. Is the recall still good this far in the future from when it came out? Will a ford dealership fix it for free? Or what is the part that needs to be replaced to fix whatever the recall was so it functions correctly?

Fusible link on the cancel switch which I think is on the master cylinder. Considering the truck could burn to the ground I think they still fix them.

Yeah I would really hate to see that happen. I will have to talk to the local Ford dealership and see what they have to say.

Horn work? Airbag light on? Clockspring would be next on the list.

I have not checked to see if it is plugged in or not, but the horn works and the airbag light is NOT on. Is there a way you can tell if the recall has been done or not? I would hate to fix the clock spring and have it burn up

The wire to the shutoff switch has some kind of tag on it.
