Don't need to draw any extra attention to it what with no tag on it.

I am a car guy, how ever when you yank out a modern trucks engine and drop in a carbed engine its just not right. its like buying a ferrari and dropping in a 350 with a double pumper carb dumb as ****.

I disagree. My 96 mustang has a 302 carb motor in it. And I did the swap and love it to death. I still get 16 mpg and make decent power at the wheels. I'm no Chevy guy at all but a 454 makes good power. However my 93 lightning stock was faster then any 454 Chevy pu ss back in the the day

its just stupid when the direct injection and fuel injection is much better across the whole board. better mpg better throttle repsonce better over all performance...
with todays tech its pretty easy to slap an efi system on any engine.
carburetors are not the answer to performance as many car guys seem to think.

even without the milage factor EFI is still better. more fuel+ air= more power. you cant force feed fuel via Carb.. performance wise fuel injection is better the carb any day. even on up keep there easier to fix

Really? You can't force feed fuel with a carb? I guess those turbos and superchargers people use are just for decoration.
