Dude, first the 150 and now the Widetrack! What's up with all this hatred?

You didn't decide to sell until I posted the Flintstones Caddy.

Neither has sold. As I have said before, I couldn't sell ice water to a millionaire stuck in the desert.

well the main issue with this one not being sold is the lights...they didnt have led strips back then...its clearly a resto mod.

Ive bought a truck for 300 bucks and sold it with in 3 days for 1,000.00 the kicker was it was a dodge ram that burnt so much oil you sware it was a diesel on start up you need something sold Sean just ask me ill sell it to the millionaire in the desert to drive out of there.

I'm at $2000 firm right now. If it doesn't sell I'm taking it apart and spreading it across the yard so it looks different.

not much difference between a carb and fuel injection.... carb is MUCH simpler....

they are BOTH controlled Fuel leaks... you CANNOT force feed an engine on fuel alone. the engine will only take want it wants and the rest goes unburnt.

carb rebuild kits are 20-30 dollars and I've never found good injectors that cheap... carbs are far more tune-able than fuel injection...

younger kids dont understand carbs but they are very simple and have been around for over a hundred years....

well define kid LOL ive learned the carbs growing up and once i began to learn on EFI systems its just a much better system, I guess it depends on whos the person. I personally given the option would have Direct injection or port injection over a carb. as for function Carborators In a way are much simpler it works pretty much like a tolet bowl the fuel bowl gets low and opens up letting the fuel from the line in to keep the fuel flow into the carb. most of it runs off air flow and gravityish stuff. efi is high pressure fuel line with a on off injection which is much more efficet as it sprays the fuel into the cylender on the intake stroke other then all the time as the carb does.
although there are system that are just TBI which is a carburetor swapped out with a single injector which is the first style of injection which was pretty crappy.

If i had an old Matching numbers car id leave it stock and original. but if it was a pieced together Mustang you can bet I would probably have a nice new direct injection engine in that thing given the money to that is.

as for rebuild kits for carbs the 4bbl carbs ive had where closer to 200-300 bucks for a rebuild. the model 1920 1bbl was more like 20 bucks. Ive had all sorts of engines and cars from mid engine rear wheel to front wheel and allwheel drive systems. efi tuned port 4bbl 1 bbl and what ever the boxer engines run lol

Heck with a carb, you can get buy sometimes with no rebuild kit..

You take your computers and enough wire to stretch to the moon. I'll take my screw drivers .

hey I'm still on the fence, I was raised on Muscle but stuck in a generation of Tuner in Import crap. I see the potentail of the Muscle car fed on Rice Computer tech. and it is very promising.

American Muscle is always first in my book but Carborated stuff is for Soda and History books man.

Most of that wiring makes the engine preform much better with the sensors and other info it gets makes it so it can adapt and preform much better given the air temps and other factors on that day giving more consistent runs and performance. of corse thats just one aspect of a good race car. handling and putting the power to the road are key as well. Hence why front wheel drive is just retarded when it comes to speed or preformance.
