Default Best Muffler for 4.9L 300

What is the best all around muffler for a 4.9L 300? Just the muffler, not the whole setup....just something I could weld on if I think its worth the money. I don't really want to cut off the cat but maybe...
Thanks

I had some shop install some stupid muffler called a vr/vx and (Supposedly) by this mechanic Flowmaster lost its patent again and vr/vx was just a knock off but would sound the exact same as a Flowmaster 40. He said it would have the same baffling, metal placement and everything. Well I kept the stock pipes except for a chrome tip and is simply too quiet. during the summer i'll prolly cut this one off and weld in a actual Flowmaster 40 or glasspack. Youtube has some good videos with the i6.

I'd go with a glasspack or a series 10 flowmaster, the 40's aren't too loud in general, just louder than average.

flowmaster 10? The flowmaster chart shows the super 44 being the loudest...

Its hard to get a deep rumble out of these 300's but it can be achieved kinda haha. Also thats my fear that I am going to buy a $80 muffler and it won't sound any better or it will sound whiney as my dirtbike.
