Okay I have a 1985 F150. The bench seats are in bad need of repair, springs, vinyl replacement, etc. however, I know of a bench seat from a 1994 F150 thats in good solid shape. Wouldnt hurt to be re-covered, but pretty much 100 times better shape than my current bench.

My main question is will the bench from the 1994 fit in my 1985? Or would I have to fabricate brackets and etc?

What year(s) seat will bolt directly to my 1985 F150. I know 80-86 would probably be a direct fit, but is any of the 90 models going to fit directly?

I know from personal experience that the eddie bauer seats I got from a 1994 bronco did not bolt straight up like I thought they would. So I would say probably not. But you can always take measurements and what not. I'm pretty sure that a 87-91 bench will fit.

I just read your question concerning the 1994 seat fitting the 1985 truck and was wondering what you finally ended up doing? I'm in the process of refurbishing my 1982 flareside and realized locating any seats worth a flip is pretty tough.

80 - 96 should be a direct swap or at least be made to fit. Ford used the same basic cab for all those years.
What you will run into is that extra cab and bronco don't fit regular cab and vice versa.

I have a 1986 f150 and want to get the original bench seat but having trouble finding one,in red. Unless I'm missing something are you able to buy them new somewhere? If that doesn't pan out. I would also like to know will 87-96 bench seats fit?

and the bench seat is absolutely beat. Just found one out of a '93 in very good to excellent condition for $80.
