Battery issue or Altenator issue?

Battery issue or Altenator issue?
The battery has been dead the past few mornings. I jumped the truck and took it to autozone to get the battery checked. They said it was good, and so is the altenator. This was all under the load of the stereo, ac, and a gps hooked up. On my way home while sitting at the light, she stuttered once and died. Turned right back over. The battery is dead today. I don't want to just throw money at the problem. Any help is appreciated.

I swore I wouldn't ask, but why are you posting twice? Actually you've started 4 posts with pretty much the same type of electrical problems. Double posting won't get you answers any quicker. Your post from 7-1-13 got you 4 pages of assistance. Not being an ***, well maybe......

Hmmmmmm, I figured after 10 months of posting the same problem, you'd have it and the forums figured out. You posted the same question 40 minutes apart today. What kind of errors are you getting from the forum that won't allow you to see your previous posts? I asked a simple question and I really wasn't trying to be an ***, but if you took it that way, maybe you'll stop posting the same questions over and over. We had the same discussion on the "Codes" post. You seem to want someone to magically give you the answer instead of learning and tracing. Your post from 7-1-13 said that your battery tested bad with a dead cell and you couldn't take that as "Hey, replace your battery". You wanted us to verify what Autozone had already told you. We're not magicians. If your still experiencing dead battery issues, you need to start from scratch with what you've learned already. Clean terminals, check cables, test battery and alternator and look for other sources of battery drain such as a radio incorrectly wired to stay on all the time or other source of battery drain. We can't come up with an imaginary diagnostic tool for you to download that will feed us all of your electrical woes.

So share the info on the vehicle. Thread starting 101: when you start a thread asking for help fixing/diagnosing something make sure you put the vehicle info. Don't rely on signatures either, a lot of us use the app and sigs don't show on the app. Or profile/avatar pics, they almost never load for me. And what is "the basic stuff"? Because your "basic" might be different from someone else's.

1994 F150 XLT 5.8L 2wd
I had a "dead" battery and truck would sometimes lose power, shut off, but was able to restart. Sometimes wouldn't start in the morning. Bought new battery but as I was removing the old one I grounded out with a ratchet and got a hefty spark. Cleaned the battery terminals, replaced the truck terminals ($5 at oreilly) and was good to go.
If your battery is low you may consider driving without a lot of accessories on for a day or two just to let it charge up.
Also check your ground points, pull the bolt and clean the frame and spades. Check for wires that are loose/worn. Usually "random" problems are a sign of bad ground/connection. May not hurt to try pulling codes and see if there are any.

Man you snobs are starting to act like ram owners. Two separate vehicles ***. You called yourself the *** in your first post. If you don't like the post don't read it. That simple. These are two separate vehicles by the way. I've done all that basic stuff. I'm by no means a mechanic, and in fact I have an extremely busy life. People used to be helpful, not dicks. I went back to old posts and had two dicks like you complaining about reseeding or some bull****. Get a life guy. Ignore the posts. I do appreciate the real help though.
What year model F-150 and what motor?
What have you done specifically to find the problem?
Have you pulled codes?
Do you have a factory stereo?
If not, have you checked the wiring to guarantee that the wiring is correct?
Do you have an amp? If so, do you have a remote wire run to an ignition source to keep the amp from draining power 24/7?
Any other Non-Factory wiring? If so, have you traced it all to make sure that you've got no constant battery drains and is the wiring neat and clean with good grounds?
Just so you know, as said above, I was going to give this an honest try at helping you by at least checking to see what vehicle you were dealing with. You have no post indicating that you are on your second F-150 and no pictures to give us an idea that you have a different truck with the same problem(s). Most battery drain issues are like changing a tire. You might have to put your jack in a different spot from truck to truck and one may have more lug nuts than the other, but it's all the same basics. Help us help you by doing more than saying "My battery is dead, tell me what's wrong!". You've been a member here since Oct 2012. Lot's of good reading. There is a "Search this forum" button at the top right corner of the 87-96 forum. You can search the forum for similar issues. I still don't understand how you started a thread and 40 minutes later you had some error so you started a new thread. You can revive your old threads too. "Hey guys, I'm reviving this thread that I started a year ago. I've gotten another truck and have the same issues and this is what I've done to try and fix it.". I can be a dick. I'm not the King Of Dicks, Sean holds that title reign. We do try to help when we can, but Mr.Obvious does step in from time to time and you need to deal with him before posting.
Hopefully these questions above will give you a starting point for self diagnosis.
