Get the heavy duty bars if your gonna use it, put it in cold run it for 20 ish miles then replace your coolant, it works if you know what to buy, which is the heavy duty stuff.

Feisty, everyone knows the branches or our military are one big happy family. We only fight among ourselves (like brothers) when the is no common enemy. But, when there is, then we all turn and go as one.

I dont know why you guys are bashing on Bar's Leak...

Use that or the Prestone stuff... the liquid that looks like it has Rabbit turds in it...

they put that stuff in at the factory in ALL vehicles... Ford, Dodge and GM... they just come in Pill form

Because its not the proper way to fix the problem. You can stop a leak with the proper punt of bubble g and duct tape as well. Doesn't mean you should IMO.

I used bars for a small leak as well, once I got it fixed I flushed that ****. Shortly after that my bypass hose split

Just use the advice, no over the counter stop leak, it heavy or light duty- nothing, use pepper of anything

i did put a teaspoon and a half of pepper in, and ill be damned, it looked like it stopped. if this thread stays alive, ill remember to post the full conclusion in a couple of days.

Naa, Jealous it to get Navy chow, some of the best I ever had was at Keflavic Navel Air Station, Iceland Gained 15lbs there. And us doggin each other is just good fun.
