Those damn plastic handles break all the time.

Try getting a set of metal ones, I just made my own damn set.

And maybe even some explorers or rangers, not sure what kind of door handles they had. Try the E-series as well. They may have the same handles.

Ive never broken then plastic grab handle, but I broke the metal inside of the door where the handle is attached. Had to weld it back together.

I broke the original plasatic handle and I got one from Advance Auto also plastic...

the issue if the whole latch is fastened down via one bolt and its to the rear of the latch so when you try to open the door the latch actually lifts a little and over time cracks the metal the latch is bolted too... what that does is not pull the cable enough to open the door so as a human the next best thing is to pull the latch harder...

Once you do this you are hitting the factory stop and you either bust the handle or rip the metal more.... fix the issue and you'll stop breaking handles...

it takes like 2 minutes to pull the door panel and remove the latch hold down bolt and inspect the door metal... if its ripped fixe if and drill another hole at the front of the latch and bolt it down with washers...

I had an old van window cut out so I added metal to reinforce the area.... done deal
