Default Airbag light flashing sometimes

My airbag light flashes sometimes and it will flash 5 times then 3 times then stop for like 10 sec. What's wrong?

The clock spring in the steering wheel might be bad. And that's air bag code 53 if I'm not mistaken.

Yup sounds like its flashing codes to you. And if it is code 53, sounds like the front impact sensors are shorted or have bad grounds. They can either be cleaned or might need replacing.

Can anyone expand on this?
My truck is doing the same thing except when the light isn’t flashing there is a very annoying buzz it will buzz5 time then pause then another 5 then pause and it will do this for no certain amount of time sometime for miles. But when the light is flashing no buzzer when the buzzer is going off no light flashing.

Man you guys are making me go out in the cold for pictures? Jeez good thing I'm a nice patient Canadian

Here is one of impact sensors, other is just on the other side. There is also a third safing sensor behind the lower portion of the right cab panel. In order fro the airbags to go off, 1 of the impact sensors and the safing sensor must be triggered.

Edit: Ok screw the patient Canadian, its my 5th attempt to load pictures and keeps closing down, even photo bucket won't work. I managed to get one picture to load. What freaken B.S

OK thanks

Now lets expand on this, my truck hasdefinitely had the front smashed at sometime and it was either afairly good home repair or a really cheap shop repair I'm not evensure if the air bag was replaced in it. Until this post That has beenmy suspected for the light and buzzing.

Is there a way to test the impactsensors? Can they be disconnected? Dose the impact sensors and thesafing sensor have to be replaced if activated? Who do you fix thisor at the least trouble shoot.
