Check the emissions sticker under your hood to be sure, but timing should probably be 10* with spout removed.

This may sound off the wall, and I can't explain it. I replaced the RABS sensor on the rear diff today ($20 part and 2 minutes to change). It got rid of the initial hesitation in my truck.

No promises - just telling you what happened on mine (and I don't understand anything about it!) From what I can tell, it supplies rear wheel speed into to the ABS system, but it must give some info to the ECM as well.

It's the Rear Anti-Lock Brake Sensor. It's mounted on the top of the rear differential. One wiring connector, one screw, pull it out.

Ok... I was reading this> https://www.f150forum.com/showthread...688#post145688 and had an epiphany.... well maybe... why does my IAC gasket only have one hole???

YEEEEHAW!!! got er fixed!!!
Turns out it was the coil, swapped one in off another truck and she's running like a top!

THANK YOU everyone for your advice and help on this. I now feel like I know EEC-IV intimately ...

Now I can put the body lift and 33"s on it!!!
