Default 94 ford f150 (Raptor)

I have a long bed 94 f150 XLT 5.0 manual 5spd truck that is mostly stock that I plan to turn into a 94 ford raptor. My goal is to give it similar performance specifications (mainly suspension, engine performance, and appearance) as a modern raptor. The reason I am posting here is because I would love to get advice and recommendations on what I should do and look at over the next few years to complete this project.

Yeah I don't even know how to respond really.

Get a degree in engineering and have an unlimited budget would be my first suggestion. My second suggestion would be to scrap the idea entirely and just build it up with era-appropriate hardware.

He's talking about dumping $20K plus into a truck that's worth maybe $5K ...stupid.. but it's his money.

I am wanting it period specific. My goal was to make it the raptor they would have made in 94. So upgrading the suspension, and doing minor performance and body changes.

If it is a 2WD your best bet would be to convert it to a Ford Lightning, which would be the era-specific badass truck of its time.

You have a lot of obstacles engine/tranny wise. 302 is a pretty weak motor (ask me how I know) and so is the M5OD transmission you have behind it (ditto). So if you are looking to build a power beast you will need significant upgrades.

I posted twice because I wasn't sure what threads had people looking at them. just made the account today. I guess I might look elsewhere for advice on this project. I am not wanting to turn a 94 into an exact modern raptor. Just a 94 concept of one today.

I posted a link in the other thread. You are looking at ~$7k for the suspension (not a 'lift') plus labor plus fenders/bedsides plus engine perf
