Default 94 f150...electrial?

i have a 1994 f150 flareside ex. cab with a 5.0, currently my horn, cruise, overdrive, my airbag light is on, and at times wipers do not work. i think it might be a problem with the electrial on the steering colomn but i really have no idea. has anyone had this problem before or know how to fix it?

It is your clock spring...common problem with those issues.

They call it an airbag clock spring because you have airbags. Trucks without airbags have a clock spring too, it's just different. Yes it will fix everything that is on the steering wheel.

1 remove both leads from battery and keys from ignition
2 eat lunch or take 10 minute break
3 remove screws on back of steering wheel holding airbag on
4 remove airbag and unplug wires going into it
5 remove clockspring
6 replace clockspring
Reverse process

I've never done this on a 87-96 f series, but I'm pretty sure its a similar process in any vehicle with airbags

I was taught 10, but I let the truck sit overnight with the battery unhooked because I'm a paranoid nut... either way, don't cut any time off that. If you can let it sit overnight, do

According to Ford you only have to wait 1 minute for the resv power to run out on these trucks, but no way would I trust that lol. 10-30 min is what most newer vehicles would need which sounds safer to me.

I had a passenger side air bag blow up on me once... Good thing i was on the drivers side.
