I just got a free accel ignition coil from a friend and I checked reviews on it on Amazon, someone said once their truck warmed up, the current (stock) ignition coil was miss firing. Of course the new Accel solved it. Have you replaced that?

I don't have anything definitive but after reading the posts I would suspect leakage between adjacent cylinders after warm up. If you still have the original plugs check for any difference in their appearance. Leaving the radiator cap off and checking for anything odd as it warms up might point to something. Or anything unusual with the cooling system for that matter. Unburnt fuel in the exhaust points to improper combustion, but why? I once had a problem with similar symptoms but it was due to a faulty plug after a change.

Ok so its been awhile since ive given an update on my truck so id like to give a little updated info since i have still not been able to get my truck running right. i Have managed to get rid of any codes that where popping up during my KOER, and KOEO. Replacing several parts that were bad has significantly helped the performance of my truck but i am still stuck with a bad miss. i have been in a run around with this truck for sometime, and even after having several people taking a look at it we cant figure it out. my problem at the moment is that the truck will run great when you first start it up, and for the first 5 mins. after 5 mins though my truck will start to miss, and backfires/sputters from the exhaust. i have checked and rechecked compression, fire, and fuel pressure, and all is good. i currently have no codes at all, and also my timing is spot on. being that the truck runs great for the first 5 mins and then like clock work after the 5 mins of warming up it runs terrible leads me to think it is something electronic, but i just dont know what. every point of ignition have been replaced, as well as every point of fuel besides the injectors. if someone out there has any idea at all as to what my problem may be PLEASE help. Thank you!
