howdy. well the 93 with 289k on it bit the big knock in the sky. Lost oil pressure and wiped out the bottom end so looking for a used one and keep running into this question. Head mounted air or manifold mounted air. I assume they mean the air pump system. But haven't a clue . Anyone know the answer? Thanks in advance

On a separate note our 02 with the tc shutter . Oreilly's shutter stop cured it-for now. Time will tell but so far so good Later Tim

On my 95, the heads are where the air pump alterations are. Not sure how that would hook up to the manifold, all I've heard of have been head hook ups.

My '87 had it in the head, while the '92 motor I put in it did not.
