I see the cover, BUT under that cover is a factory leather wrapped wheel, I can see the laces.

After some more research, I discovered I have an XLT with a Mark III conversion.
I'm reading these are pretty rare.

it looks like this might be a Waldoch conversion, they did a lot of these for Ford back in the day
