91 f150 wont start
i have a 91 f150 extended cab short box 4x4 with the 5.0L. I went to work last night and went home just fine. went to start it this morning and it would crank but not fire. the fuel pump did not shut off and there was a sound that sounded like a hiss from around the intake manifold. please help.

is it cold where you are? probably not your issue, but my 95 in the winter would just turn over when I went to cold start it and it wouldn't fire. I had to prime it 2-3 times and then it would start right up.

I live in Wisconsin and I tried that and it didn't work. I sprayed starting fluid into the intake and it started just fine. Its started since. I will try it again after it completely cools down. It also doesn't want to drive in drive. First,second,and reverse work just fine.
