91 f150 new fuel pump and wont start
i have a 91 ford f150 with 5.8 windsor,i installed a new fuel pump today and tried to start it and no go.The fuel pump is turning on for 2 seconds like it should, and lines are all primed up,gas will come out of the scrader valve, excuse my spelling, but it does not come out with force when i press the pin.I can make it run for a second or two with starting fluid, then it dies, done it over and over and still no go...help

I installed a pump last year and it was wired backwards from the factory. The pump ran it just flowed the wrong way. The pump would come on and run but not keep the truck going when switching to that tank. I built a pigtail that reversed the wiring, got the ends at the wrecking yard.
It perplexed me had to call a friend that'd wrenched for a long time.

That's not much info for us to go on. The more we know about the truck, how it's built, & its history; the more-likely we can help you. List EVERY factory option, modification, damage, repair, the miles, maintenance, and everything you can find or remember about it in your signature so we can review it all with each reply. Why? When (time, miles, & relative to the appearance of this symptom)? What brand, PN, & source? Did the replacement pass the same test that the previous pump failed? The key wouldn't go in? Or it wouldn't turn? Or nothing happened when you turned the key? We know NOTHING about what you're seeing, other than what you type here. So be thorough, descriptive, & precise.Use a gauge to measure the pressure.
