91 150 a 460 and a crazy plan
THE IDEA! make my old 91 F-150 custom into a puller / race truck*
(enough to keep up with the V6 mustangs and ricers at least)
THE PLAN! Replace the old 302 with a 460 i have around, and change over to dana 44 / 60s
so the question here is does anyone have any tips or advice to make this slightly crazy plan go a bit smoother.
I know i will have to do custom mounts and new cross members. What else will i need to mod or if you have any tips to make a big block fit in the small hole?
Before people start saying buy a new truck, This truck is my project / toy.
i know it is smarter to buy a new truck but like i said its my toy. besides i have most everything i need (as far as i can tell) and its fun to make franken-trucks.
