Thanks guys, i cant wait for it to be finished! but im just taking my time (as i get it) and going slow to get everything just the way i want it, i have a whole week off in 2 weeks and i dedicated the whole week to be working on my ford pickemup truck ill keep posting updates with tons of pictures

and as far as the 302 emblem, its just the ford emblem i painted 302 on there myself i took some measurements and drew up a stencil on the computer sanded it down painted it white covered the area of the numbers with tape and painted old ford blue, then lightly sanded it then a coat of clear over top just got bored one day like painting things

oops didnt know there was 2 pages

i love the way the whites ones look cause they stand out and look like a brand new pair of sneakers especially wrapped in new tires

and the corner lights

shipped pretty fast like 3 or 4 days, they are nice, not exactly what i wanted its like the inside of a stock corner light with a curve piece of plexiglass over the front but, they have been on in the snow and rain and they havent gotten any moisture build up or anything

Default update 2 continued

you can see the slipyoke out a little, i guess the driveshafts are different lengths but mine works fine so im keeping it, i drove it probably 50 miles and everything works great, im glad i pulled a good transmission from the junkyard no noises at all plus for 50 i cant complain at all

next part of this update is i installed the front suspension lowering kit on it, its a djm 3/5 drop kit

heres the spindle just a couple wacks on the side of the axle where the ball joints go in and it came out like a breeze

heres the passenger side axle thats going in if you have ever looked at a 2wd axle its extremely noticable sorry the picture is upside down

heres the old setup

new shocks/old shocks red shock blue shocks
man i could be the next dr suess

a
a closeup of the passenger side axle, note that long bolt right there that holds axle in the radius arm, i tryed heating it, hitting with a sledge, half a can of pb blaster, impact gun, breaker bar, and could not get it to budge so i cut them( there was one on the drivers side as well) off. hopefully we the ford dealer sells them cause we looked at tractor supply, surplus city, homedepot, napa, to see if they had them, none of them had any like that cause the threads go halfway down the bolt the only ones we could find had threads 1/4 way down the bolt and theres two nuts that go on it one to keep the axle in place on the radius arm and one on top to keep the spring in place

heres a pic of the underside with the new djm dream beams inplace

heres a close up of the end of the axle with spindle and everything on except stabilizer bar

I'm not one usually for lowered full size trucks, but that is looking great and well balanced. Only thing I would do after painting it is not replace the EFI logo to keep the front end smooth. But that's just me
