Basic Info needed to swap the I6 for a 351 in a 93 F150
Hello,
My father has a 93 F150, hes the original owner. Its a base model F150 XL with the I6. 93k miles on it. Drives great. Only problem is that well...its an inline 6! I finally got him talked into actually thinking about swapping parts/engines to make it look like a Lightning. I did a little searching but havnt found much.
Main Question:
Can I bolt a 351W up to a stock 6 cylinder transmission?
Others:
What will it take to swap in a 351?
Ive been working on imports the past few years and become an **** freak with even the smallest details. So im up for the challange of finally pulling this 351 swap off.

yes it is a five speed. Wil the flywheel match up? along with the clutch and everything off of the I6?
Correct, a harness and ecu will be needed. Does the ECU plug right in? Does the engine harness plug into some type of chassis harness? or right to the ecu?
