Default Help no start

I have a 1990 lariat 4x4. it did not run when I got it but it was physically in good shape and i got it cheap. The man I got it from said it just stopped running. The fuel pump went out so I changed that and the filter. The truck is getting full pressure to the fuel rail. It has spark, If i spray some starter fluid in the throttle body it wants to start up but will not continue to run. It seems to be getting gas in the cylinders because when it catches from the starter fluid I give it gas and it revs for a seacond before it dies. I changed the plugs also. Does anyone know how to check the ICM or the PIP? It has got to be something down that road. It has eveything that it needs to run fuel, air, and spark. It just wont continue to run.

Check to see if the injectors are getting power, just google how to check the sensors.

I will check it but I think that the injectors would be getting power if it revs up a little before cutting out when I hit the gas?
