My truck has been acting up since monday. It ran fine friday. Got in it monday to go to school and has a real bad skip. It cant get it to do it in nuetral or first bust the rest of the gears the motor will skip miss and sputter out terribly. I can hardly get it to do 55 and it did that like nothing before. If you get to half throttle doing 55 no matter how much you push the gas more it will not speed up. If you throttle slow it skips pretty good if you mash on it will do it a little worse and if you hold it in a spot it will even out a little skip and even out again. Acts like its outagas but its def not. Almost thinking plug injectors or something but i dont why this would just start monday with no sighn at all of doing this on friday. Starting to get scraed to drive it.

Other than pulling codes check fuel pressure and fuel filter.

Alrighty gonba try to answer all these now. Pulling codes is a little beond me i know the sticky but i know some mechanics that can do it faster than i can. No gas steeling it has been pretty damp ya. Plugs and wires are pretty close too new. I was thinking of a fuel filter to try and replace. I poured a thing of dry gas in when i got home today. I got to drive it 15 miles both ways to boces tommorow to drop a project off. Gonna be sketchy. My straight 6 isnt indistructble i know most are but this one has a bad cyl i was thinking a second one was going out. How do you check fuel pressure. I dont understand i can rev it up to the limiter in nuetral or driving in first gear it will not skip a beat it runs great then but after doing like 30 it will run like ****. Cut out and then feels like its catching then runs good for a sec then just reapeats the pattern.

Check number one plug wire is snapped on the plug good and isn't wearing on the power steering pump bracket and shorting. I'm out of beer and ideas, so you might just have to pull codes.
