87 F150 The last dollar I have build.
Here she is in all her Glory:
1987 Ford F150 XLT Lariat 300 I6
4wd 4 Spd Standard T-18 Trans
September 2015 Picked her up for $500 in need of - Brake booster, wheel cylinders and drivers rear axle shaft, wheel bearing, and seal.
Side note: I manage a wholesale auto parts store. So I have no issue locating the parts I need at great prices. That would be my reasoning for diving into this money pit.
It's the first truck I remember my Dad ever owning. His was the same Except Tan with the roof visor. I love these trucks and I've wanted to own one ever since I was young.
A lot of progress has been made since these photos. I'd like to journey through a little at a time until we catch up to where I sit in my build today.

Some repairs while I decide what I really want
So I decided to fart around in it a little while I decided what I wanted her to look like. I toyed around with the idea of just restoring it to original, but as per usual my ideas spiraled out of control.
Sitting at school. She was a looker.
Up on the little making it a little safer to roll around in. Drivers front wheel bearings and U-Joint. Rear pinion bearings and seals. Drivers rear axle shaft bearing and seal. Brake booster and wheel cylinders.
Now she stops AND goes.

- White 4x4 Bed Sticker, White FORD Tailgate lettering -
- 35x12.50 Tires -

More body love
The passenger side was a different story. It looked like the truck was hit in the side. The bed and cab needed to be pulled out. I had to hunt around the local U-Pull-It for a door and we needed to replace the fender with a new model from "Sortafit"

Moving on ahead
Upon pulling up the floor liner we found a nice surprise on both door sills

Passenger Side
AAAAAAAAAND here is when all my plans went to s***. First we cut the rear bumper off to make way for a roll pan.
He looks so excited to chop that sucker off of there.
