Default 1992 F150 4X4 5.8L very hard shifting and running rough

Hey there, first off I'd like to say thanks to all you people who are helping with us do-it-yourself-ers, I have a 1992 F150 4X4 5.8L not sure where to find tranny number. Hard starting, poor idle, hard shifting, Had the truck given to me and would appreciate any help or suggestions, I'm pretty mechanically inclined

Ran the self test on the EEC and heres what I found:

KOEO TEST

173 Lambda sensor (right) too rich
337 Electronic pressure transducer (EPT)/differential pressure feedback exhaust (DPFE) sensor/electronic vacuum regulator (EVR)
452 Vehicle speed sensor
628 MLUS Failure

Engine Running Test

172 Lambda sensor (right) too lean
213 Tach, circuit, SPOUT grounded. SPOUT circuit, open circuit
536 Brake on/off (BOO) switch not activated during self test
538 Operating error during self test. Air Conditioning switched on

I also have a 632 Code but cannot find on list, I believe it's the O/D switch on the shifter.

Thanks in advance for any help.

You're right about the 632 code......the bad VSS will cause the hard shifting for sure. The O2 sensor could cause it to idle crappy as well. Same with the EVP codes you've got there....The spout code concerns me........It's rare but not uncommon for the spout to take a crap and cause problems...

Is there a way to test all these sensors so I'm not replacing them for nothing

Checked over and found father-in-law pulling fuses and put the abs fuse in wrong spot, fixed that and ran codes again found the following:

KOEO

628 MLUS Failure - Excessive torque converter clutch slippage

KOER

213 Tach, circuit, SPOUT grounded. SPOUT circuit, open circuit
311 Pulse air/thermactar air system faulty
622 Shift solenoid 2 circuit failed

Checked SPOUT and found to be within limits, according to Haynes, replace ICM, correct?

Or would it be wise to check timing, and if so can't locate the spout connector.

Thanks

Ran check on SPOUT and found to be at 7.9 also found ABS fuse in wrong spot, installed in proper spot a shifting much better.

Ran codes again:

KOEO
628
KOER
116, 311, 536, 538, 632

Still hard starting when warm, engine shakes pretty hard when in gear at a stop sign.
