Been awhile since Ive posted, life has had me running wild......


Any of you 5.8 guys runnign a B or E 303 cam?? If so how do you like it? I am finally getting around to dropping a 351 in my truck and want to run a cam. Looking to run a smaller type cam and have options for a B or E camshaft at the moment. Anyone running either of these with a stock converter?? Anyone probelms?

id go with the e-cam. its not the best, most modern cam but a better choice than the b cam. as far as the mustang trend goes, stick guys go b, auto go e. the b cam would be sluggish as hell in your truck. oh.. i vote leveling kit (asap) and 31's

I wouldnt limit yourself to those few cams...theres gobs of cams that would work good with your truck that're designed for speed density. I had a crane powermax 2030 in mine but it had enough lift that it needed diff valve springs. But I saw quite a few others when I was looking.

Reason I am lookign at those cams, is only offers right now. I have a TFS stage 2 cam laying around and looking to trade it for smaller one. My 302 is getting replaced with 351, and wanted a cam in it. I have ran the E years ago in a mustang, but was a stick. Thats why I asked on here for guys with auto's feedback.

The motor I am putting in truck is a 96 roller,, and swapping E7's for GT40 X-303 heads, crane roller rockers 1.6 and had the stage 2 laying around. Figured would try and trade it off. And so far only got responses for E and B.


I know there are more cams, but with my ANNY comign and the crook SANTA picking my pockets, funds are are limited.... lol
