Put a piece of cardboard to block fan from drawing air threw radiator.. Like covers you see on big rigs in norhtern climates.. Just be careful, not to let it over heat...

I thought about that too. But those semis are diesels, and they run way cooler than a gas engine. He said that it eventually gets warmed up.

I'm wondering if some of these no heat problems i'm seeing recently on here might be corroded heater cores.

If you can stop the cool air firm getting to enging it should warm up quicker. If you had and electric fan,, could leave it off until engine warms up.


Is cooling system clean, you could be on to it with cruddy coolant, clogging heater core.
