4x4
Hey all, I have a 1995 Ford f150 XLT with a push button 4x4. My LOW RANGE never worked before so I thought it could be the switch. (Before replacing the switch 4x4 hi worked.) So I replaced replaced the switch and now nothing works. I texted the module on the passenger side and that's good. There is no clicking or lighting up. So I replaced the switch to the old one...still nothing. Any help would be awesome.

Just a thing for you... If I can't figure something out I take it to the shop and have my guy check it out... He tells me what's wrong quotes me and I walk out... He figured it out and I fix it.... I know that's not what you wanna hear but sometimes it just works.... My 95 is my daily driver and I don't have the time to crawl around all night figuring out what's wrong.... And I am by no means a mechanic... I don't let others fix it but I have no problems with them telling me what's wrong...

Get a wire print and a meter. Google the wire print.. look at images... include subford or supermotors in your search parameter. Go down the the actuator. Pull the connector off and check for power and ground. If its there then either the actuator is toast or the t case is.8

Yeah. I think a lot of people like to work on there OWN rigs. I think that is the whole point of these forums. I come here to learn so I can do the repairs my self. It's rewarding to fix your own truck. I was just thinking there would be some better information on this generation of 4x4. I found nice write ups on other types of systems used on different years but nothing good on the push button, manual locking hubs, auto trans type. The whole point is to learn from you guys and gain knowledge so us younger guys can then keep it going and teach the next generation of ford truck enthusiasts. This site is an avenue for that. Thanks
