I put 12"-35 buckshots on my 96 F150 extcab with a 3" body lft and it looks great and gives plenty of ground clearance. I did have to cut the bottom of front bumper about an inch and a half but no more rub. Some people like expensive suspension lifts but to me your not gaining anymore clearance since you still have axles under there, plus suspension lifts take away your factory ride. If you want clearance, the bigger the tires the more clearance you will get. The factory suspension is alot more stable to me than aftermarket suspension.

i have a 4" body in my 95 and i can only get 33 12.5 in hte front. max. i have a 89 with a 6" susp. lift and that fits 35 12.5s max. i cant go any bigger than that and the tires rub on sharp corners..

My truck has 6" suspension lift and 3" body lift and the 35X14.5's will still make contact with the fender and bumper on occasion. Granted, those are during fairly extreme situations. Probably wouldn't happen with 35X12.5's though. Or 10" rims instead of 12"s with some odd offset.

I guess that I would recommend at least 6" of lift.
